Hello everyone,
My name is Irene, and I’m from the Philippines. I completed my Master of Divinity at Asia Life University in South Korea, and I’m now back in the Philippines, where I’m actively involved in ministry with my husband. We are pioneering a church under the Foursquare Gospel denomination, and it has been an incredible journey of faith, growth, and service.
In addition to our church planting work, I also serve as a Bible school instructor. Teaching and discipling future leaders has been one of my greatest joys, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation of ministry workers. My desire for further study, particularly in the field of Biblical Studies, is driven by a passion to deepen my understanding of the Scriptures and to equip my students with a stronger theological foundation.
I am truly thankful for the opportunity to pursue a PhD in Biblical Studies through this free-tuition program. This further academic journey will help me grow both personally and professionally, and I’m excited to see how it will enhance my ministry and teaching.
I look forward to engaging with all of you, sharing insights, and learning together as we continue to grow in our calling and studies.

Thank you for sharing, Sister! It’s amazing to think about how God has been using me as an adjunct lecturer to share the good news with students across Asia. My passion for learning and ministry keeps growing and I’m grateful for the opportunities He provides. I am a frequent visitor to Thailand which is such an important mission field and I’m praying for the Lord’s guidance and blessing as I pursue my desire to serve there. I trust He will continue to use my love for teaching and spreading the gospel to touch many lives. I’m excited for the journey ahead and look forward to learning with others through this programme.
