More formal introduction

Now that I've had time to look around, I'd like introduce myself a little more.

I'm Rev. Amy Petrie Shaw, and I've been a minister for 13 years. I currently serve the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice, Florida, which is a 200 person and growing congregation on the Florida Suncoast. Denominationally, I serve as a national conflict mediation specialist, called a Good Officer, and am one of 6 ministers on the Good Officer Coordinating Council. I specialize in transitional and developmental ministries

I am originally from Northern Kentucky and have served churches in Cincinnati, Ohio, around Milwaukee, WI, Des Moines, IA, and Florida.

I live in Venice, Florida with my dear friend Nancy and three ungrateful cats.

I look forward to deepening my biblical understanding and expanding my approach to servant leadership through this program

Hello Amy, my name is Derek. It is a pleasure to meet you, and welcome. You have a wealth of experience, and I may be reaching out to you in the near future for advice, as I pursue my Master's and eventually my Doctorate. My prayer is that you will continue to grow in Christ, and serve God!
