Question: How significantly has the knowledge of good and evil influenced philosophical and psychological dilemmas?

Dear colleagues,

I’ve had some great conversations with my students lately about humanistic philosophy and psychology, all leading up to this discussion on the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. While I could ask chatgpt for an answer, I felt it would be more meaningful to explore how the Christian community interprets this concept of "knowledge of good and evil"—its theological significance and its influence on philosophical and psychological dilemmas. I’d love to hear any thoughts or research you’ve come across that might be relevant.

Thanks

Hello. In my dissertation, I have dedicated my research to the figure of Satan the Devil as a representation of evil, and I have also explored the concept of life through the lenses of phenomenology and existential analysis. While this serves as a foundational reference for my work, it is essential to emphasize the significance of the concept of evil. For Christians, Satan the Devil plays a pivotal role, and individuals must equip themselves with the word of God to defend against this malevolent entity. Click here for the link.
