Greetings,
I am Isaiah Kohen-Qadosh, a man of Persian-Jewish descent, born and raised in the City of New York. The one who is blessed—is the one fettered by faith, wrested by wisdom, and decisive in deeds. As I grow —chronologically and spiritually— I strive to pave the path for perpetual prosperity and incessant progress optimally. Indubitably, it is vital for one to attain holistic erudition with respect to vocational forethought. This journey is one that is lifelong; one must concurrently confront their foibles and hone their virtues. Ergo, a mote of enlightenment is essential to the acquisition of intransient tranquility.
As an individual of sagacious inclinations, I am quite honored to partake of this program graciously granted by the Queens College of Theology. What is a career? The English term ‘career’, etymologically derives from Latin ‘carrus’ (“chariot”), via Middle French ‘carrière’ (“road”). This term ultimately descends from Proto-Indo-European ‘*ḱr̥sós’, from the root verb ‘*ḱers-’ (“to run”). To elucidate: one’s career is their course of life. It is the “road” one must traverse in order to invest their life to “run” its course. The chariot of wisdom is, thus, the crux of triumph.
Ofttimes, a mote of divine counsel and merit is the ethereal kindling that one requires to discover their raison d’être. With astute aspirations, have I taken upon myself the mission of ministry? Indeed, for it is my existential devoir. Having witnessed the transformative power of the word of God, it behooves me to extend love and guidance to those who are in dire need of spiritual nourishment and restoration.
I appreciate your heartening words, Dr. Joseph! May God eternally bless you and your loved ones.
