Answering the call
My name is Michael Nelloms, and I am honored to introduce myself as a devoted husband of 18 years and a proud father of six. With over 12 years in law enforcement and a decade of providing security at St. Vincent De Paul Church, I have committed my life to service, leadership, and fostering safe, thriving communities.
My journey has led me to pursue a doctoral degree at Queens College of Theology—a step I believe is vital in fulfilling my God-given purpose. My goal is to integrate theological education with my practical experiences to develop ministries that address contemporary challenges, particularly in youth mentorship, church security, and community outreach.
Through initiatives like the Hamilton Foundation, which provides scholarships to underserved youth, I am dedicated to empowering the next generation. I look forward to growing in faith, scholarship, and leadership, equipping others to thrive in a secure, welcoming environment.
Welcome Michael. I hope that you enjoy the PhD program and all the great lessons you will learn throughout the modules. I am glad you are getting to fulfill God's purpose for you with this degree.
