Dr. James “Madison” Walter is an Adjunct Professor at Queens College of Theology, where he teaches Chaplaincy and prepares students for service in pastoral care, crisis response, and faith-based leadership. As a Christian author and educator, he is committed to integrating biblical scholarship with practical application, equipping students to serve with wisdom, integrity, and compassion.
His academic interests include chaplaincy, biblical theology, Christian discipleship, servant leadership, and biblical manhood. Through his teaching and writing, Dr. Walter emphasizes sound biblical interpretation, spiritual formation, ethical leadership, and the practical application of Scripture.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Walter serves as an Auxiliary Police Officer and as a Quality Control Technician and Radiation Safety Officer with a regional construction company . His professional experience in public service and industry provides practical insight into leadership, ethics, crisis intervention, and servant leadership, enriching his instruction in chaplaincy and theology.
Dr. Walter is also an author and photographer and is a member of the Delta Epsilon Tau International Honor Society, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence, scholarship, and service.
