Crying Out to God
The key is to understand God’s heart for His creation. Lamenting helps us to come closer to God with honesty and trust, while also reminding us of His plan for humanity. When the first Adam sinned, the second Adam—Jesus Christ—came to save and restore us. God’s love for His creation is beyond anything we can imagine, full of grace and mercy. When we lament with faith and humility, we open our hearts to His love and His plan for redemption, which strengthens our relationship with Him and renews our hope in His promises.
