Kimberly Parker Accepted into QCT Doctoral Program

(Charlotte, NC) - Kimberly Parker of Suffolk, Virginia, has been accepted into the Queens College of Theology doctoral program to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology & Theology.

Kimberly Parker is a graduate of Norfolk State Unversity with a Master of Social Work. Parker currently serves as a Christian therapist and assists her father, a Pastor, with their ministry. The admissions committee felt that Ms. Parker would be an ideal candidate for the doctorate program with her extensive training in helping those with traumatic pasts by using emotional and spiritual healing.

Parker believes she was led to attend Queens College of Theology as she was asking God about a Psychology program, and just weeks later, she discovered the seminary online. She further believed it was an ideal fit as the curriculum at QCT is self-paced and has core Christian values.

"I truly look forward to the day I can call her Dr. Parker. Every ounce of me knows that she will take what we teach at the seminary and truly make this world a better place. We are proud to have Kimberly join us at Queens College of Theology," says Chancellor Dr. Leftwich.

When Ms. Parker is not pursuing her scholarship, she enjoys cooking, listening to sermons, praying, fasting, and loving her pets!
