QCT Welcomes Professor Ivan Johnson

(CHARLOTTE, NC) - Queens College of Theology is excited to welcome Ivan Johnson as an adjunct instructor.

Ivan Johnson is an experienced educator with a background in the elementary and higher education sectors focusing on Special Education, Learning Design, and Technology. Ivan has dedicated the last 12 years to working in education as a Director of Financial Aid and Lead Special Education Teacher. His responsibilities as a Lead Special Education teacher included creating individualized education plans and teaching state standards. He also had to supervise the learning and progress of all students on his caseload.

As Director of Financial Aid, Ivan’s responsibilities include managing the institute’s financial aid department. He is dedicated to helping students achieve their educational dreams. Ivan is committed to enhancing learning experiences. When not shaping the future of education, you can find him exploring antique shops or getting lost in the pages of a good book.

Ivan graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education, concentrating on Special Needs Education. He then furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Education degree from Post University with a concentration in Learning Design and Technology. Ivan is pursuing an Education Specialist degree from North Central University with a concentration in Educational Leadership and beginning his dissertation at Queens College of Theology for our Doctor of Philosophy program. Everyone at Queens College of Theology is excited to have one of our former students return to help lead and train our Pastors while ensuring each one receives an accessible and affordable quality education.
