Topic: Trusting in God, the One and only Owner of All
Genesis 1: 1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”
Genesis 1:1 presents God as the Creator of heaven and earth. It indicates that God existed before creation and the beginning of time. God is not a product of time; He is the one who brought everything into existence. Our God is not bound by the constraints of time and space. As the one who created and began the universe, He is also its Regulator and Sustainer. All creation is subject to Him and is actively upheld by His power and wisdom.
Lesson from the text
We must trust in God’s sovereignty with all our hearts and minds, knowing that the One who created all things is also their true Owner and Controller. As Psalm 84 prompts us, He will not hold back anything good from His children. Nothing starts without him. Nothing moves without his permission. No beginning is outside his authority. So, if I’m entering a new season, I shouldn’t panic, I must take it back to the beginner. If God authored my beginning, he’s committed to my process and sustenance. God bless you
