Introduction
My name is Pearl, and I am excited to be starting the New Year as part of this community. I’m from Florida, and my decision to pursue a PhD in Bible Studies is driven by a deep calling to better understand Scripture and learn how to apply its timeless teachings in today’s world. My aim is not only to enrich my own life through God’s Word but also to share that wisdom with others, especially those that the Lord brings into my life who are seeking guidance or direction.
I look forward to learning alongside all of you and growing together in our ability to apply and share Scripture in ways that are practical, transformative, and life-changing.
Welcome on board, Pearl! It’s wonderful to have you with us. I’ve had a deep desire to understand God’s Word more fully especially from my early days in the corporate world. We can gain a lot of knowledge in our minds but without the Holy Spirit teaching us, it’s like studying a school subject - informative but not life-changing. It’s when the Holy Spirit opens our hearts to Scripture that it truly transforms us. I’m excited to learn alongside you and grow together discovering how to apply the Word in practical ways that will change our lives.
